LITTLE CLACTON

Little Clacton was the village where I grew up and lived for the first eighteen years of my life. Dad had built the house that we lived in and it was a pretty amazing place, not least after he added an extension to the back of the house and literally made it L shaped.

Situated between Great Clacton and Weeley it was not the best of places to grow up. Thriving on a rural village mentality I do not think one person from my year at school actually went to university and as far as I know I do not believe there has ever been anyone famous associated with the place.
